"Love Alone Creates"

Come visit where St. Maximilian Kolbe's life of charity and heroic death in the Auschwitz death camp is commemorated namely, Marytown, the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe. The exhibit is open to the public by appointment. A viewing can be part of your pilgrimage, retreat or field trip.

In October 1999, past Marytown Guardian Fr. Patrick Greenough dedicated the Kolbe/Holocaust Exhibit, located adjacent to the St. Francis Conference Hall. Through photographs and original artwork, the display presents the life and work of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and a history of the Nazi Holocaust that will transform your life.

Father Patrick hoped that all who visit the exhibit would be moved to prayer, reconciliation and a greater charity, saying, "The only answer to Auschwtiz is God's mercy."
